“The Fight For Dixie’s Land” - 1864 , Florida - After the Union disaster at Olustee in the Spring of 1864. The shattered remains of the Union Forces under the command of Brigadier General Seymour were placed on garrison duty at Jacksonville, Palatka, and various other locations. In hopes that Confederate forces in the area would not capitalize on their recent victory. What follows afterward is a struggle all but lost to history. In October of 2020, you will have the opportunity to experience war time Florida in a manner that has never been done before. Mark your calendars for October 23-25 , 2020.
Event Schedule
Spectator & School Information
Starting Saturday there will be a $5.00 fee for spectators. Children 5 and under are free. All proceeds will be going to the Bronson-Mulholland House, as well as to erecting a monument in the Westview cemetery for the African-American troops buried there.
